3/15/2019 I was lucky enough to be able to throw a launch party for Secondhand Origin Stories. We were hosted at Moon Palace Books, had a reading from the audiobook author, and a representative from Limb Lab showing the latest in prosthetic technology! My wife and I also made cheesecakes to represent each of the main characters. Yael had rainbow coconut cheesecake over a base of bannabread with peanutbutter chips. Issac had chocolate and espresso cheesecake. Jamie had ginger and orange. Opal had classic cheesecake topped with sweet lemon curd and a rose of poached pear slices. I also gave away some tea samples of blends inspired by the book. We had a wonderful turnout of friends and readers, and so much fun!
